All claims must be filed in writing and received by Top Notch Moving, LLC's claims department within 15 days of the delivery date for local moves (within state lines) or 6 months of the delivery date for long-distance moves (out-of-state lines). All claims must be submitted with clear photos showing the damages and the furniture itself. Do not proceed with any repairs or dispose of any damaged items you would like to file a claim on. Top Notch Moving, LLC reserves the right to inspect all damaged items. By law, Top Notch Moving, LLC provides limited liability coverage to all our customers at no charge. The maximum liability is limited to $1/article/pound (for local moves) and $0.60/article/pound (for out-of-state moves) for all items damaged or missing at the time of the delivery. Since Top Notch Moving LLC cannot control whether proper packing methods are used on boxes packed by the owner and pressed wood furniture, liability is limited.
